Patsy was the daughter of Walter Lee Allen Sr and Mary Lena Bellamy Allen. She was educated in the Edgecombe County School System. She was a member of Leggett Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Tarboro, North Carolina.
She was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Lori Ann Allen.

2 Daughters: Cynthia Ann Allen and Shereka Nicole Allen.
3 Sons: Jerry Allen, Ervin Wayne Allen Sr and Ervin Allen Jr.
1 Sister: Lucille Williams.
2 Brothers: Willie Lee Bullock and Herbert Allen.
5 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild.
