Joyce Austin of Wayne City passed August 13 at Crossroads Hospital in Mt. Vernon, Il. Joyce was a member of Wayne City Baptist Church and served on Wayne City Library board.
She is survived by four sons: David Garrison of Wayne City, Mark and wife Ann Garrison of Lexington, Ky, Neil and wife Joni Austin of Fairfield, and Kelly and wife Shelli Austin of Indianapolis, IN; and one daughter Valerie and husband Earl Malone of Mt. Vernon, Il. Also surviving are brothers Adra and wife Ruth Greenwalt of Indianapolis, IN, and Bennie and wife Donna Greenwalt of Wayne City, IL. Sixteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren also survive.
Mrs. Austin was predeceased by her parents Kelly Ira Greenwalt and Laura (Ellis) McCormick.
