Mrs. Rachel Lee Williams, 85, widow of Rev. C. H. Williams of B'nai Jacob Synagog, died on Saturday at her home, 47 South Welles Street, city, after an illness of general debility.

Mrs. Williams was born in Poland and had been a resident of this city for 39 years. She was an active member of B'nai Jacob congregation, Talmud Torah and the Ladies' Aid Society.

Surviving are three sons, Judge Nochem S. Winnet of Philadelphia, and Nathan and Jacob L. Williams of this city, and four daughters, Mrs. Matilda Lieberman, Mrs. Ben Siegel, and Anna and Lillian Williams. She also leaves 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

The funeral was held yesterday morning from the Wilkes-Barre Hebrew Institute and was largely attended. Services were in charge of Rev. Henry Guterman, Scranton; Rabbi I. M. Davidson, Cantor Aaron Horowitz, Cantor Jacob Stein and Cantor Saul Siller. Interment was in Darling Street Cemetery.

Casket bearers, all grandsons, were Marvin Williams, Harold Williams, Ralph Woloz, Shuyler Horitz, Harry Lieberman, D. Andur and Nat Landau.
