HAMPTON - Sandra Nichols, 73, born in Ashland, MO, died Saturday, February 24, 2018 after being diagnosed with cancer. Sandy was a member of Pine Chapel Baptist Church for 44 years and a school bus driver for Hampton City Schools for 25 years.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Don; daughter, Brenda Smith; sons, Billy (Kelly) and Ronnie; her sister, Gloria Sapp (Danny); niece Bonnie Atkins (Blake); grandchildren, Cassie (Leo), Patrick, Jake, Sarah Abraham(Marcus); great-grandchildren, Lexi and Oliver. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Beril W. Smith Jr; and brother, David Biggs.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 pm, Thursday, March 1, 2018 at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home 245 S. Armistead Ave. by the Rev. David Parker with interment to follow in Hampton Memorial Gardens.
