George is survived by his beloved wife, Merile “Jean” Gary of Jennings, LA; his two sons, George “Lee” Gary Jr. of Jennings, LA, Richard (Glenda) Gary of Bunkie, LA; his daughter, Tammy (James) Habetz of Jennings, LA; his two grandchildren, Ashley and Casey Gary; his great grandchild, Lindsey Gary; his brother, James Gary of Lake Charles, LA; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
George was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Adeline Gary; his two brothers and one sister.
A Mass of Christian Burial in honor of George’s life will be held at Our Lady Help of Christian Catholic Church in Jennings, LA on August 18, 2018 at 11:00 AM with Father Charles McMillin officiating. George will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery following his service.
