Chatfield Man Dies at Rochester Hospital
Chatfield, Minn.- (Special to The Republican-Herald)- Luther M. Lombard, 76, Chatfield, died suddenly yesterday afternoon at a Rochester hospital where he was preparing to leave for home after recovering from an operation at the hospital the first part of this month. Death was due to a heart attack.

Mr. Lombard was born in Freeborn county December 20, 1862, and had spent the greater part of his life here. He was a plumber by trade. For the past 22 years, he had been employed at the A. J. Krank Company plant in St. Paul but had maintained his home here, spending his weekends at home. He married Alda Holden December 8, 1886, at Chatfield.

Survivors are his wife; one son, Donald, St. Paul; one brother, Abner, in North Dakota, and one sister, Mrs. A. L. Ober, Chatfield.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
