MRS. ELENER BENTLEY
Arkwright, Dec. 17—Mrs. Elener Bentley of Gerry died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Perry Pattyson of Arkwright, at 4 o'clock Monday afternoon, aged 67 years, 3 months and 1 days. She leaves a husband, E. M. Bentley, two sons, Rell E. of Gerry and Lynn Bentley of Erie, Pa ; one daughter, Mrs. Pattyson of Arkwright, and two brothers and four sisters. The funeral will be held from the home of her daughter at Arkwright, at 1 o'clock Thursday afternoon. Burial in Gerry cemetery.
Note: This is the only place which gave her name as "Elener." She was known everywhere as "Alice," but the other details given in the obituary make it clear that she was the widow of Elmer Bentley--perhaps it was a misprint of "Mrs. Elmer Bentley."
