Beulah Mildred White Reid, age 100, of Lenoir, passed away at her residence August 14th, 2018. Beulah was born January 2, 1918 in Caldwell County, to the late Fred and Ada Auton White.
Beulah was a homemaker and worked on the family farm alongside her husband the late, Mack Donald Reid. She was a member of Oxford Memorial Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one son; Stanley Reid, three brothers; Edward, Victor, and Gaither White, three sisters; Blanche Triplett, Ellen Hollar, and Hillian Bumgarner; one great-granddaughter, Hollie Michelle Lafon.
Beulah is survived by one son; Steve Reid and wife Frances of Lenoir, one daughter; Judy R. Reid of Lenoir; one daughter in law Linda Reid of Taylorsville one sister Lois W. Shore all of Lenoir, four grandchildren; Angela Hodge, Melissa Cleary, Rusty Reid and Deah Oxford, four great-grandchildren; Hollie, Andrew, Micah and Isaiah, two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am at Oxford Memorial Baptist Church, 2889 Old NC 90 Road, Taylorsville, NC Friday, August 17, 2018. Rev. Neal Walker and Rev. Tom Walker will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00 am prior to the funeral service in the church.
