Etta Rose “Rosie” Hasler, 91, of Tipton and formerly of Bloomfield passed away Monday Aug. 13, 2018 at IU Health Tipton Hospital.
Born September 5, 1926 in Bloomfield the daughter of Brantley “Buck” and Mary Louise (Oliphant) Heaton.
Rosie was a homemaker, she was a member of the Bloomfield Church of Christ and the Furnace Home Improvement Club.
Rosie loved her family, playing pinochle and making and eating pies. She was a cancer survivor and enjoyed doing fundraisers to help with research to cure cancer.
Surviving relatives include her daughter, Sharon (Rick) Balser of Noblesville; one grandson, Wesley A. (Jessica) Balser of Zionsville; one granddaughter, Shara Lynn Tragesser of Tipton and four great-grandchildren, Ethan, Rilynn, Cooper and Reid.
Rosie was preceded in death by her husband Milo D. Hasler on November 26, 2000; one sister, Reba Street and her parents.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the hour of service on Friday Aug. 17 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Services will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Grant Riggins and Joshua Riggins officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Cemetery in Bloomfield.
The family wishes any donations be made to the Bloomfield Church of Christ or the American Cancer Society.
