Charles was born November 11, 1942 in Memphis, Tennessee to Charles Dewitt Coker and Francis Marie Coker.
He was raised and attended school in New Albany, Mississippi. He joined the Navy in 1961 and was stationed in Norfolk, Virginia. He spent the greater part of his life in San Antonio, Texas where he will be laid to rest. Charles spent much of his career as a mechanic and avid photographer where he made many life long friends. He had a passion for people and made friends everywhere he went. He always had a smile on his face and people were drawn to him.
Charles was proceeded in death by his parents as well as his brother Roy Edward Coker. Charles is survived by his siblings, children, grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
Rest in peace, sir.
