Saint, Irish monk. He died in 655 in the area of Le Roeulx, Belgium, decapitated by brigands. An abbey was built in the 12th century on the location of the murder. This abbey disappeared during the French revolution (Belgium was occupied by the French army) A shrine containing the jaw is located in the Saint-Nicolas church of Le Roeuix, Belgium
