Dennis Carey was born April 24, 1954, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Charley and Ramona (Roach) Carey. He passed away at his home August 11, 2018, at the age of 64 years 3 months and 18 days.
Growing up at Lost City he attended School in Hulbert. Following high school he began working as a contractor building houses. His career turned to Iron Working as he traveled building towers for many years. He was a race horse trainer and owner, a “Hobby” he enjoyed for many years. Throughout his life he enjoyed building things, outside decks, tables and specially yard ornaments. Dennis liked to attend auctions and take care of his yard, planting and tending to the flowers. He enjoyed crawdad hunting as well.
Preceding him in death are his parents, Reverend Charley and Ramona Carey; and a brother Monroe Carey
