HILLSBORO — Danny Joe Kelley, 57, died August 12, 2018. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral is Thursday at 2 p.m. in the chapel with burial in Smyrna Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Karan Gibson Kelley.

Danny loved to hunt, fish and cook out with his grandkids and watch racing and Alabama Football. He loved to do woodwork and family vacations. Danny worked as a mechanic for Mike’s Garage.
Survivors include his wife; Karan Gibson Kelley, three sons; Glenn Mote, Benjamin Kelley (Kimberly) and Matthew Kelley, one daughter; Amanda Kelley McMillan (BJ), one brother; Mike Kelley (Carol), three sisters; Sherry Roberts (Larry), Terry Kelley and Michelle Glasco(Joel Fuentes), thirteen grandchildren; Candace and Ryan Johnson, Alyssa Kelley, Kayden Tucker, Aly McMillan, Dakota McMillan, Ryder Carrington, Alex Kelley, Jasper Marie McMillan, Billy McMillan, Cloey Kelley, Jace McMillan and Amythyst Mote, and one great grandchild: Easton Johnson, nieces and nephews; Tim Smith, David Smith, Kayla Smith, Kellye Roberts, Lee Roberts (Brianne), Dillon Roberts, Melanie Mears, Bradly Mears (Jessica), Jessie Mears (Brittany), Jonathan Posey, Elizabeth Eubanks (Chad), Megan Kelley and Kyle Brewington.
