Connie Sue Dodd, 70, of Edwards, Illinois passed away Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Riverview Senior Living Community in East Peoria. She was born February 7, 1948 in Peoria, IL to Frank and Betty (Fuller) Martin. Surviving are her sons, Greg (Becki) Arnold of Edwards and Michael Arnold of Peoria; and her grandchildren, Terry Kyle (Morgan) Lance, Kaylee and Avery Arnold; six great grandchildren; and her brother, Gary (Alice) Martin, Sr. Connie was a secretary at Germantown Hills Grade School retiring in 2004. She will be remembered for her kindness, sense of humor and baking abilities. She was always supportive and positive as a mother and grandmother. Her family brought her much joy and happiness in life. She loved flowers, plants and doing her own flower arrangements. Connie loved to travel to her favorite lake and ocean destinations. And also loved to spend time with her family. Connie was loved by all who knew her and she will be missed. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel. Pastor Tom Eckhardt will officiate. Burial will follow at Parkview Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 pm Friday, August 17th at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Center for Prevention of Abuse
