Jimmy Wayne Jordan, 64, of Center, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 11, 2018, in Center. He was born on May 3, 1954, in Houston to the late Jim Allan and Betty Jean Wolfe Jordan. Mr. Jordan graduated from Gary High School with the class of 1972. He married Donna May Muth on June 16, 1999, in Hemphill. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Jordan was a diesel mechanic working in the Pipeline Industry.

Survivors include his wife Donna; sons, Shannon and Shane Jordan of Gary and Steven Jordan of Marshall; siblings, Karen Evans of Longbranch, Mike Jordan of Longbranch, Emma Shires and husband James of Gary, Marvin Jordan and wife Debbie of Tenaha and Toby Jordan of Marshall; and host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 16, 2018, at Six Mile Cemetery in Carthage with Bro. Levi Cohorst officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. A visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home prior to the graveside service.
