Frances Pauline Bozeman Bowers passed away on Friday, August 10, 2018 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was born to Samuel Maxie Bozeman and Annie Vee Bozeman on January 23, 1935 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Pauline was a perfectly devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her greatest love here on earth was family. She would sacrifice anything to make sure family was taken care of. She loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus and served him through music and children's ministries in many different churches. Pauline was also a prayer warrior. She would joyfully approach God's throne of Grace on behalf of anyone or anything in need. Every place she moved with husband Milburn, she worked and excelled in every occupation. She drove the Mobile Library truck in Plaquimine, worked as a bookkeeper in Ft. Worth, the assembly line at the AT&T factory in Shreveport, and for sixteen years as a social worker for the state of Texas. "Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope." I Thessalonians 4:13.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Maxie Bozeman and Annie Vee Bozeman; her brother, Andrew Bozeman; and sister Mattie Billingsly.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 65 years, Milburn Bowers; children, Reecie Mitchum, Laurinda Bowers Stovall and husband Richard Stovall, and Renae Bowers-Carnahan and husband Tim Carnahan; grandchildren, Brittany Benfield and husband Colin Benfield, Kristin Rainbolt and husband Daniel Rainbolt, Matthew Carnahan, and James Stovall; great-grandchildren, Judah, Asher, and Levi; and brother, Sam Bozeman.

A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, August 13, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home with a visitation starting at 1:00 PM Monday before the service. An interment will occur after the services in Centuries Memorial Park.
