Funeral Services for Geo. L. Dodson, 73, retired Sumner County farmer who died Wednesday afternoon at the home of his nephew, Ora Gapen of this city, were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Frank Funeral Home with Barney Tames, pastor of the Baptist Church, officiating. Interment was made in the Perth Cemetery.

Mr. Dodson was born in Larue County, Ky., and came to Kansas fifty-three years ago settling in Sumner County. He had lived in this county since that time. For a number of years Mr. Dodson farmed west of Perth.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. America Brashear, Arkansas City and Mrs. Anna Thurman, Upton, KY., and several nieces and nephews.
