Danny Curt Anderson, 40 of Jersey, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2018 at his home.
He was born September 27, 1977 in Dumas.
He attended RFC Chaplain Services, was a self-employed tile layer, a member of Southern Drag Boat Racing Association and Lucas Oil Drag Boat Racing Series.
He is preceded in death by a son, Heath Anderson; paternal grandparents, Curtis and Mildred Ratterree and Roscoe Anderson; and maternal grandparents, Henry and Juanita Hartless.
Survivors include his wife, Crystal Anderson of Jersey; parents, Jimmy and Marilyn Ratterree Anderson of Star City; son, Hayden Anderson of Star City; brother, Steve (Donna) Anderson of Woodlawn; grandmother, Lola Anderson of Star City; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by a special friend that helped through Danny’s entire battle with cancer, Sambo Smith.
Funeral services are 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at Griffin Funeral Chapel with Bro. Mike Griffin and Bro. Ricky Harris officiating.
Visitation is 6:00-9:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial at Rowell Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Sambo Smith, Ryan Smith, Mickey Harlow, Steve Brute, Trey Osburn, Charles Hayes and Mike Bradford. Honorary pallbearers are Steve Hines, Jim Mooney, Mike Grider, Jason Ratterree, Billy Cross, Ryan O’Hara, Tanya Hines, Kim Hays, Terry Graves, Penny Goza and Wanda Sanders.
