Wyatt was born as the son of Alexander Adams and Lorena James Horton Wolf. He graduated from University of Arkansas in 1914 and served in Army during world War I. He founded the North Arkansas Electric Company which provided service to this community. The company sold to Arkansas Power and Light in 1929.

Waytt H. Wolf married Margaret Emily Turner and they became parents of four daughters and one son.

Wyatt and Margaret had a son William Edgar Wolf who was in World War II and perished in the Philippines on the 26th of Aug 1944 and is buried there.

Magaret had a second marriage to Earle Bryant.
