Charles graduated from DeAndres High School and served as a Marine in the Korean War, receiving a Purple Heart. He retired from Proctor & Gamble after 25 years.

Charlie was a devoted husband and father who dearly loved his family, friends, and the game of golf. He enjoyed watching and playing all sports; he could fix anything and was always there to help family and friends with household projects. He also volunteered his services to various charities throughout the years. He was dearly loved by all who knew him.

Charlie was preceded in death by his son, Steven and his sister Mary Reiter.

Funeral Service was held at Kutis South County Chapel, Mehlville, Mo.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charity of your choice or either of two local charities that we have supported – – AFAF, Anything for a Friend, local charity providing support to families in need,https://www.afaffoundation.org/ or the Hiene Family, on https://www.gofundme.com.
