Myers Mortuary, Roy, Utah. Wanda Gwendolyn Jeppsen Hammer, May 20, 1925 – June 18, 2015. In the afternoon of June 18th, our precious and beloved wife, mom, and grandma, Wanda Gwendolyn Jeppsen Hammer, returned to her Holy Father's arms. She passed at her home with her family at her side after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 90. Wanda was born to Daniel P. and Rasminnie Jacobson Jeppsen on May 20, 1925 in Perry, Utah. She grew up in Brigham City where she met her true love and soul mate Clifford L. Hammer and they were married April 27, 1942 in Malad, Idaho and recently celebrated their 73rd anniversary. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple on September 11, 1969. After living in several places they chose Roy, Utah to call home. She was a member of the Roy 7th ward. Mom chose to be a life long homemaker; loving wife and six of us were truly blessed to be able to call her Mom. Her family was and is the joy of her life and she will look after her family forever. She would light up every time one of her children or grandchildren would visit, right up to the point when our Father returned her to His loving and merciful side. Wanda loved holidays. She and Dad decorated their home for all of them, but her favorite was Christmas. Every year she would transform her home into a Christmas and winter wonderland. In her younger years she was a beautiful stitched quilt maker and saw to it that one was finished and given to each of us when we were married. She enjoyed crocheting and other types of arts and crafts.

Wanda is survived by her loving husband and five children, sons Larry C. Hammer (Karen) Ortin, Wa., Roger L. Hammer (Peggy) Honeyville, Ut. and Robert D. Hammer (Tammy) Roy, Ut., daughters Trudie W. Anderson (Andy deceased) Kaysville, Ut., and Marsha J. Burton (Jay) Fruit Heights, Ut. Wanda has 22 Grandchildren 36 great-grand children and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two siblings, Von (Bonnie) Jeppsen, and Don (Beth) Jeppsen.

Wanda was preceded in death by one son Curtis B. Hammer (Tonya), her parents, four sisters and nine brothers. Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at 11:00 a.m., at the Roy City Cemetery, 2300 West 5200 South, Roy, Utah. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.myers-mortuary.com
