Joyce A. Rodriguez, 78, of Streator passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Heritage Health Therapy and Senior Care, Streator.
Funeral services will be at 4:00 P.M. Tuesday (August 14, 2018) at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator. Rev. Larry Dean will officiate.
Visitation will be from 2-4 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Streator. Her grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. Her great grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Born October 17, 1939 in Streator, she was the daughter of Harold and Anna (Burash) Olesen.
She is survived by daughters, Cindy (Lou Easi) Thomas of Streator, Donna Williams of Streator and Denise (Ron) Handzus of Streator; grandchildren, Cheri Brewer of Ottawa, Eric (Rachael Middleton) Thomas of Florida, Adam Fleming of Streator, Emily Fleming of Streator, Ricki (Emily McBride) Williams of Streator, Jordan (Kailey) Fleming of Springfield and Evan Handzus of El Paso; great grandchildren, Hailey Middleton, Ryan Middleton, Caleb Fleming, Lily Brewer, Maddox Fleming, Mackenzie Handzus, Liam Brewer and Ronyn Fleming; a sister, Dee (Mike) Goetzke of Rosemont, Minnesota; brothers, Terry (Karen) Olesen of Dallas, Oregon, Ken (Sue) Olesen of Apple Valley, Minnesota and Jerry Olesen of Jerome, Idaho.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Debbie Benson; a grandson, Jeremy Williams and her son in law, Lee Williams.
Born and raised in Streator she attended Streator schools. She worked for Owens Illinois Glass Company for many years.
She was of the Catholic faith.
