Christopher Lee Erickson, age 35, of Fort Walton Beach, FL. Passed away on August 8, 2018 at 12:39pm.

He was born to Cynthia Aurora Erickson on October 17, 1982 at Eglin AFB, FL.

He was preceded in death by his mother Cindy.

He is loved and survived by his four beautiful children Cyerus Xavier McCulloch (16), Drake Ezra Erickson (8), Annaliese Aurora Erickson (5), and Damon Eziaih Erickson (1). He is also survived by his grandmother who took an active part in raising him his entire life Maria A. Erickson, his uncle Louis J. Erickson Jr. who raised him after his mother Cindy passed away, and his uncle David J. Erickson.

He will be missed by the mothers of his children Taryn McCulloch and Kristin Erickson and his step father Doug Ruoss.

Christopher will be remembered as a charismatic, funny, and talented person. Christopher had an interest in music from a very early age. He started playing piano at 5 years old and won many awards and accolades. He added the saxophone in his teen years and played for the Choctawhatchee High School Marching Band. After graduation he became a DJ of notoriety playing at the top night clubs in the Fort Walton Beach area including Nightown, The Swamp, and many others. He hosted the famous music artists that would come to town for shows in these clubs and enjoyed showing the artists our beautiful area. Christopher was quick witted and very funny using a lot of physical humor as well. He was immensely likable and a pleasure to be around.

As he built a family he got away from the night club scene and used his people skills to get into sales. He sold tools, sold computer services, and sold trucking routes. He was never afraid to talk to someone and never lost his positive spirit when someone rejected him harshly. He loved electronic music, chorizo wrapped in cheese, and horror movies, but only in the theater. He was taken far too soon and he will be missed.

Interment will take place at Beal Memorial Cemetery where Christopher will be laid to rest next to his mother Cindy immediately following the service.
