Brian Lascelles "Louie" Jordan, 59, 3/24/58 - 8/10/2017.
Born in Havana, Illinois to Dr. James S. and Elizabeth (McLaughlin) Jordan, Brian grew up the youngest of five siblings in Warren, Pennsylvania.

He lettered in track and cross-country at Warren Area High School, served as president of the WAHS Varsity Club, and became an accomplished runner at Edinboro State College. He was an All-American in cross country in 1978 and 1979, and the national runner-up in the steeplechase in 1980. Brian was inducted into the Edinboro Hall of Fame in 1991 where his dedication and personality fortified the running tradition that lives there still today. He retired as a career police officer at the University of Colorado four years ago after 28 years of dutiful service. As accomplished a man as he was, he was modest above all, had a vibrant humor, and was deeply devoted to his family.

He is survived by his three children, Alan and Eddy Jordan of Longmont and Amy Gray of Aurora, Colorado; by his four siblings, Jim Jordan of State College, Pennsylvania, Kathy Dolan and Meegan Peterson of Warren, Pennsylvania, and Kevin Jordan of New Smyrna Beach, Florida; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Brian passed away on the anniversary of his wedding to the former Carol Marie Thomas of Edinboro, Pennsylvania, who predeceased him April 1, 2006.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm, on September 15, 2017 at Faith Community Lutheran Church in Longmont. Cremation entrusted to Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory.
