Belgians buried at Folkestone.
The funerals of Monsieur Planckaert and Madame Bastin took place at Folkestone on Wednesday morning. The bodies were removed to the Roman Catholic church on Tuesday evening, and Mass said on Wednesday morning, in the presence of a large number of the Belgian residents of the town. Amongst those present were members of the Belgian Military Staff, representatives of the French and English Staffs, and Mons. Peterson the Belgian Vice-Consul. The service, which was a very solid nature was conducted by the Rev. Father Cavroy O'Caffrey. After the service the cortege proceeded to the Folkestone Cemetery where there was a large assemblage of friends, in addition to the relatives. The last sad rites at the graveside were performed by Father Ladislais.
