Don Bullock Clark

April 27, 1938 ~ August 10, 2018

Our beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away peacefully August 10, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.

Don was born on April 27, 1938 in Ogden, Utah to Amasa and Sophrona Clark. He enjoyed his childhood in Roy and Ogden with his brothers Reid and Dale. After graduating from Weber High School, he honorably served in the United States Air Force. He married his life-long sweetheart, Faye Peterson, in 1960. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple in 1965. Shortly after their wedding, he served our country on the island of Guam as an Air Rescue Crew Member. He retired from Hill Air Force Base after 25 years of civil service.

His favorite memories were created with his family while hunting, camping, fishing, rock hounding, hiking, and family reunions. He especially enjoyed having his children and grandchildren around him at family dinners and gatherings where he would express his life experiences and memories.

After a miraculous experience on Guam, Don lived faithfully throughout his life as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In recognition of his life-long service in scouting, he was awarded the Silver Beaver. Don was serving as the Webelos leader at the time of his passing. He also faithfully served as a home teacher, ward clerk, bishopric member, youth leader, high priest group leader, and temple ordinance worker.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Reid; sister-in-law, Bonnie; granddaughter, Jessica Stolting.

Don is survived by his wife, Faye; brother, Dale; sister-in-law, Patsy; aunts, Nathel Hill and Myrna Hoskins; children: Kim (Jenny), Danice (Ted) Stolting, Joyce (Dallen) Spencer, Leon (Michele), Sheila (Melvin) Glandon, Darrell (Rozanne), Jeanette Clark (Kirk Spencer), Rod (Megan), Beatrice (Chris) Hackwell; 34 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, with one on the way.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, Ogden.

Don blessed and touched the lives of all that knew him and will be missed by all. We love you Dad!
