Albert W. Abel, 74, Montrose, Mo., formerly of Kansas City, died Monday at Clinton , Mo., hospital. He was born in Salem, Mo., and lived here 50 years before moving to Montrose in 1969. He operated the former Busy Bee Transfer Storage Company from 1920 to 1969. He was founder and past president of the Kansas City Movers and Storage Association.. He was a member of the Ivanhoe Masonic Lodge. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Jean Abel of the home; a son, Albert E. Abel , 1735 Hawthorne Court, Independence; a daughter, Mrs. Anna Wayne Gossett, Dallas; two brothers, Millard F. Abel and Earl Abel both of LaMonte, Mo.; six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Passantino Chapel; burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 7:30 to 9 p.m. tonight at the chapel.
