Elizabeth "Betty" Sheean Wade, resident of Idaho Falls, Idaho, formerly of Lincoln, California, passed away at home after a long courageous battle with cancer surrounded by family on August 9, 2018, at the age of 93.
She was born January 17,1925, in Glendale, Los Angeles, CA, to Joseph Sheean & Edna Merrill Sheean. She was the oldest of five children. She graduated from Grant Union High School in California and is a graduate of Loyola University School of Nursing, Chicago, IL. She worked as a Program Specialist Health Services for San Juan Unified School District in California and retired as a School Nurse at El Camino High School, Sacramento, CA.
She loved traveling, golfing, playing cards especially bridge & gin. Her favorite times were spent with friends and family.
She was predeceased by her husband Merlin L Wade after fifty years of marriage; son Gerald "Jerry" Wade of Sacramento; both her parents along with two sisters and one brother.
She will be greatly missed by her daughter & son-in-law Janice & Bill Boggs of Idaho Falls, ID; Grandchildren, Justin & Kelly Boggs of Chicago, IL, Ashley & Ronald Demmer of Rigby, ID, Corene & Bryan Young of Idaho Falls, ID, Rebecca Wade of Roseville, CA; and seven great-grandchildren.
Family will hold a private Celebration of Life.
