The sun rose in Glenfawn, Texas on September 7, 1934 bringing with the new day a new life Phyllis Ann was born to the late Bertie Rae and Herbert Lunsford.  Her formative years was spent in East Texas.  She attended school at Laneville, Texas and graduated Jeff Davis in Houston, Texas.  She met and married the love of her life Kenneth Stuckey (52 years).  They were blessed by 3 children, Kathy, Cheryl and Kenny.

She was blessed to have a second chance at love in her golden years and was afforded 7 ½ years with the Rev. Billie Hendrix.

She was proceeded in death by her husbands; Kenneth Stuckey and Rev. Billie Hendrix, her son; Kenneth Lloyd.  Her parents, Hub and Bertie Rae Lunsford and many loved ones.

She is survived by her daughters: Joy Kathleen Stuckey of Deer Park, Cheryl and husband Clarence Matlock of Vidor, daughter in law Victoria Stuckey of Deer Park. 7 grandchildren:  Jeremy and wife Becca, Misti, Kimberly, Sarah, Zachry, Kenneth (Kenny) and Christopher. 15 great-grandchildren: Aries, Jasmine, Chance, Jonathan, Haley, Amber, April, Austan, Jessie, Hayden, Kenneth Wayne, Bryonna, Lily, Mia and Sophia. And one great-great grandson: Javier.

Phyllis became a member of First Baptist Church in 1960 over the years she held office in WMU, G.A.’s, Sunday School and Keenagers.  She was involved in the home bound and served the Lord in many ways.

She was noted for her contagious smile and her quick wit as well as her ability to make friends under the saddest of conditions. She loved life.  She loved God, her family and her friends.

The family will receive friends Friday, August 10, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm., at Niday Fairmont Funeral Home in Pasadena. The funeral service will be held Saturday, August 11, at 10:00am., at First Baptist Church Pasadena; interment will follow at Clover Hill Cemetery in Lott, Texas at 4:00pm.
