SHREVEPORT, LA – A Celebration of life service for Stella Marie Foster 86, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 11, 2018, at Rose-Neath Marshall Street Chapel, Shreveport, LA. Officiating will be Gary Knighton Minister of Church of Christ North. Interment will be at Blanchard Cemetery, Blanchard, LA. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. Saturday until service time at the funeral home.
Stella was born April 13, 1932, in Paris, AR to Catherine Philomena Willems Schwartz and John Albert Schwartz and passed away August 8, 2018, in Shreveport, LA. She was a member of Church of Christ North. Stella loved fishing and spending time at their camp on Toledo Bend. Her flowers and gardening brought her great joy.
Stella was preceded in death by her husband Dan Gilbert Foster, parents, John Albert and Catherine Willems Schwartz; and brothers, Bill Schwartz and James Schwartz. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Dan Eugene Foster; daughter, Kathy Sanders and husband Richie; sister, Barbara Beshoner of Paris, AR, brother, Charles Schwartz of Tulsa, OK; grandchildren, Stacy Davis and Ryan Stroope; great-grandchildren, Lane and Colton Stroope, Shaye, Sophie and Tyler Davis, and Lleyton and Lily Sanders.
