Wilma L. Collins, 95, of Harrisburg, passed away Wednesday August 8, 2018 at Saline Care Center surrounded by her loving daughter and grandson.
She was born in Golconda on December 22, 1922 the daughter of Otis and Myrtle Mills Wallace. On March 2, 1946 she married Collis D. Collins and he preceded her on February 17, 1990.
Wilma was a Cottage Parent having worked for the State of Illinois for several years. She was also a member of Beta Sigma Pi, Trigg County Homemakers, she was an avid reader and loved to play Pinochle.
Wilma loved her family with all of her heart. Survivors include her daughter Judy Stout of Harrisburg, grandson Scott Stout of Harrisburg, and sister Barbara Sue "Susie" Cox.
Along with her parents and husband, she is preceded by her grandson Shawn Stout on October 26, 2013, sister Dena Carraway, and a special cousin Bonita Choisser.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday August 11, 2018 at Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado with Scott Pilkington officiating and burial will be in Sunset Lawn Cemetery in Harrisburg, IL. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until service time at the funeral home.
