Scott was retired from Hill Air Force Base, where he worked as a jet engine mechanic. After retiring, he worked part-time at CAL-Ranch.
Scott loved the Bears, and enjoyed horses, camping with family, and pheasant hunting. He was renowned for his beautiful yard. He made friends wherever he went, and was a truly kind and generous man.
At the time of his passing, Scott was survived by two daughters, five granddaughters, and one great-granddaughter, as well as five siblings. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and two children, Waylon and Jessica.
