It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Brian Robert Tidwell, on October 25th, 2015, following a short illness. Brian was born on March 17th, 1971 in Trenton, NJ. Brian is survived by his husband, Randy Pace, his parents, Barbara and Owen Tidwell, his brother Barry Tidwell, his mother-in-law Rita Pace and father-in-law Rodney Zinger, sister-in-law Amy Pace and her spouse Heather Rhoad, and his beloved niece Nina Pace, as well as Aunt Louise and Uncle Peter Crocitto Jr, and his cousin Peter Crocitto III, Uncle Vaughan Raesch and Aunt Julie Pryor, Uncle Dan and Aunt Shirley Rhinehardt, Cousin Rockie Rhinehardt, as well as many other Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. Brian grew up in Hamilton, NJ, where he played baseball and was very involved in 4H and horseback riding. After spending some time in school in Florida, he moved to the Dallas, TX area in 1997, working for American Express, and most recently he held the position of Director, Product Support Services for GetThere, a division of SABRE Corporation. He met his husband Randy in June of 2002, and they have resided in North Richland Hills for the past ten years in a home they built together. Brian had a passion for aviation and travel, and loved seeing the world. Among his favorite destinations were Krakow Poland, Monte Video Uruguay, and Australia. He also loved nature and animals, especially his beloved horse, dogs, parrots, and ferrets. He liked to volunteer his time to helping various animal rescue groups. He had a kind, loving soul, and was always the life of the party. He and Randy loved to spend time with their family and travel to see them, and go on many adventures together, full of “Shenanigans.” He also loved spending time with his best friends, Don Walker and Cody Kramer, going to Broadway shows, movies, hockey games, exploring battleships and theme parks, and he loved to go to watch his cousin Peter play baseball.
