Funeral services for Martha Grafton Mathews, 75, of Ruston, LA will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel in Ruston. Interment will follow at Fellowship Cemetery in Dubach, LA. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 10, 2018 from 5-7 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston.
Martha loved to garden and work in her yard. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Mathews and step-son, Don Mathews.
Left to cherish Martha’s memory are her children: Jay Quarles of South Carolina, Stacey Quarles (Lisa) of Ruston, Michael D. Quarles (Kelly) of Ruston, and Carolee Ellen Quarles of Choudrant; grandchildren: Shannon Curtis, Kristin Quarles, Casey Quarles, Stormy McCann, Bradlee Martin, Lauren Jones, Kerrigan Quarles, Ella Quarles, Ruger Quarles, Ciara Smith, and Colby Ledford; and great grandchildren: Marlee Jones, Chloee Jones, and Stevie Ray Quarles. Also surviving her are her step-children: Doug Mathews (Lorrie), Dwayne Mathews, Donna Duffie (Donald), and JoAnn Mathews; step- grandchildren: Felicia McInnis (Lee), Jace Watkins, and Garrett Mathews; step-great grandchildren: Arianna McInnis, Jensen McInnis, and Jaxon Watkins.
Honoring Martha as pallbearers will be Casey Quarles, Bobby Jones, Branson Morris, Mike Swain, Chance Perkins, and Scott Perkins. Honorary pallbearers will be Bradlee Martin and Colby Ledford.
