Walter William Warner, age 73, of Coal City, WV passed away at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley on Wednesday, August 8, 2018.

Born on September 27, 1944 in Bartley, WV, he was the son of the late Bill Warner and Elizabeth Reed Warner.

Mr. Warner was a retired construction worker and long-haul truck driver. He was a US Army Veteran, and a member of the UMWA. Mr. Warner enjoyed riding motorcycles and spending time with family members.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Laura Belle Warner; brother, Richard T. Warner; a sister, Kay Andis and a granddaughter, Brittany Weaver.

Those survivors left to cherish his memory include two sons, Walter Patrick Warner and wife Kimberly, and Hank Warner, all of Coal City; grandchildren, Colin, Caden, Tyler and Tymber; great grandchildren, Liam, Natalia, Elizabeth and Ember; two brothers, Gary W. Warner of Philadelphia, PA, and Bill Warner of Hillsville, VA; three sisters, Julia E. Lewis of Princeton, WV, Elenia Montgomery and husband Nelson, of Hillsville, VA, and Mary J. Taylor and husband Don, of Marion, VA. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services to Celebrate the life of Walter W. Warner will be conducted at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at noon with Rev. Kelly Bowman officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at Prosperity, WV. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services on Wednesday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be family members and
friends.
