JOHN PAUL RADER, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, Aug. 4, 2018. Born in Dekalb, Ill. on Dec. 15, 1956, he was a son of the late William Rader and Henrietta Storer. John attended Lakeland High School. John kept himself busy, mainly driving trucks in his working days. John enjoyed fishing, and spending time with his beloved dogs. He was known as an animal lover and a great joke teller. Surviving are his wife of 27 years, Linda Rader; children, Michelle (Chad) Hogle, Cheresa Navarrete, Eric (Angie) Rader, and Claudia Rader; 11 grandchildren; sister, Laura Rader; and brother, Thomas Rader. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Roger Rader. Memorial service is 3 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2018, at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne (IN 46805), with visitation two hours prior. Memorial contributions may be made to the ASPCA.
