Roy Franklin Watkins, 72, of Leesville, SC went to be with his eternal Father on August 8, 2018. Roy was the son of the late Louise Kirkland Watkins Smith and the late Roy Franklin Watkins. Surviving are his wife of 36 years, Pat Watkins; two daughters, Ronette (Jimmy) Trotter of Saluda and Dawn Watkins of Columbia; step-son, Chris McLain of Batesburg; grandchildren, Will, Carrie, and Allie Trotter. He is also survived by his special friend and canine companion, Sophie. oy was owner of Batesburg Amoco and retired from Lexington Medical Center. Services will be held Saturday, August 11 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Batesburg, SC with burial to follow in Batesburg Cemetery with Rev. Henry Stamper officiating. Active pallbearers will be Neil Cato, Byron Sheppard, nephews, Brad All, Randy Reece, Zach Thomasson and Dillon Thomasson. Visitation will be Friday, August 10, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Milton Shealy Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Baptist Church, 436 W.
