Richard A. Strickland, 79, of Petal, died August 6, 2018, at his home. Visitation will be Thursday, August 9, 2018, at Moore Funeral Home in Petal, from 10 a.m. until the service at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Gulfport.
Mr. Strickland served in the U.S. Marines. He retired from Mississippi Power and was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, O.E. and Mildred Strickland; one sister, Peggy Roberts; daughter, Tambra Lynn Fountain; and son, Richard Allen Strickland, Jr.
