James Phillip Ingle, 82, of Jasper, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2018.
He was a graduate of Walker County High, Walker College and The University of Alabama where he earned a bachelor's degree in Accounting. He then enjoyed a thirty year career with Farm Bureau and Alfa Insurance. He was highly active in his community and loved serving others.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Grace Ingle; brother, Gerald Ingle; sister, Carolyn Ingle Williams; and in-laws, Roy and Aurilla Sherer.
