He was born in England, April 10, 1944, and moved to the United States at the tender age of 2. He lived in the Rockingham County area with his adopted parents, Edgar and Leah Revercomb, until he was old enough to be on his own.
In 1966, Danny joined the Navy with a tour of duty in Vietnam. After his discharge from the service of his adopted country, he returned to Virginia, where he met and married his first wife, Ruby Ellis Sampson, August 31, 1968. They made their home in Harrisonburg, but unfortunately their marriage ended in divorce.
At some point after the divorce he decided to make his home in Texas. Then, around 1977, he met and fell in love with Mercedes Gallegos Padilla. They were married in El Paso, December 3, 1984. When they married, Mercedes already had 10 children. It takes a good man to take on a woman with 10 kids. Danny was a good husband and a father to the children. They were happy to have him as a part of their family for over forty years.
