Darryl Cole, age 63, of Cynthiana, Kentucky, died Tuesday, August 7, 2018, at his home. He was born in Berry, Kentucky, on June 25, 1955, to the late Vergie Dickerson and Alson Cole. He was a factory worker and enjoyed woodworking and working on cars.

Survivors include his: wife, Susan Hurst Cole; a son, Darryl Ray Cole (Lisa); a daughter, Amy Murphy; brothers, Alson Cole, Virgil Cole, Ricky Cole and Jeff Cole; sisters, Betty Hannah, Karen Stevenson, Verna Lewis, Debbie Gill and Linda Fraley; grandchildren, Gracie Murphy, Gunner Cole, Destiny Whitaker and Abel. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Elwood Cole, Raymond Cole, Ronnie Cole, Greg Cole, Lonnie Cole and Fannie Ashbrook.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Battle Grove Cemetery Meditation Building. Burial will follow. Pallbearers will be Darryl Cole, Michael Newton, Dale Cole, Allen Cole, Wayne Cole and Earl Hurst. Honorary pallbearers will be Dennis Hyatt and Gunner Cole. Contributions may be made to Hospice Care Navigators, 2312 Alexandria Drive, Lexington, Kentucky 40504.
