Kathy (Katia) Karim Ford, 63, of Roanoke, VA, passed peacefully into God’s loving embrace on Tuesday, August 7, 2018, after a courageous battle with cancer. We know her Father, Halim, was there to welcome her.
Kathy is survived by her Mother, Odette; brothers: Gaby and wife, Robin; Claude and wife, Robin; Nick and wife, Donna and Naji and wife, Michelle, as well as beloved Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.
The Karim family is indebted to Friendship North, for their exceptional care of Kathy these past few years. Knowing that she was lovingly cared for every day by such wonderful nurses and aides, made our visits a joy.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM on Friday, August 10, at Oakey’s South Chapel with Trisagion Service at 7PM with Rev. Nick Galanopoulos presiding. Funeral service will be conducted at 11AM on Saturday, August 11, at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. Entombment will follow at Evergreen Burial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church General Fund, 30 Huntington Boulevard, NE, Roanoke, VA 24012.
