Arthur loved to spend time with his family, working outside and enjoyed taking care of all their animals. He loved to work with his hands and make all kinds of crafty stuff like wood work as in boats, car, covered wagons, airplanes, outside yard ornaments like reindeer, and sleighs. He also spent many hours working on word search puzzles. He like to tinker with cars to fix them up and a few people called him carburetor Art if you need something fixed just give him some chicken wire and duct tape and he would get it fixed for you.
Arthur is survived by his wife Shirley and they're five children: Bill (Doris) Pearson of Front Royal Virginia, Becky Freeman of Perry Iowa Rhonda (Terry) Harwood of Redfield Iowa, Richard (Diane) Pearson of Rippey Iowa and Cindy Dahl of Rippey Iowa, he is also survived by his grandchildren: Joshua (Arissa), Jessica Kris) Elijah, Rodney, Kelly, Daniel (Molly), Ted (Robyn), Jed (Phalyn), Nick, Heather (Shawn), Brian, Jared, Kaitlin), Carrie (Jacob), and Katie (Bill). Arthur also is survived by his 30 great-grandchildren: Levi, Noah, Micah, Jonah, Eden, Jackie (Shawn), Wade, Brandon, Dillon, Maddie, Lilly, Delaney, Joseph, Reagan, Dalton, Alivia, Owen, Maddilynn, Cody, Skylar, Aryanna, Matthew, Xzavier, Samuel, Madison, Ayden, Kylie, Cash, and Paisley, and sister Viola Brown.
Arthur was preceded in death by his father Arthur Pearson, mother Edith Pearson and Son Glenn Pearson and his six brothers Clearance Pearson, William Pearson, Donald Pearson, Melvin Pearson, Albert Pearson, Kenneth Pearson and four sisters Velma Moorhead, Agnes Miller, Alma Collins, and Ruth Pearson.
