Patricia A. Abney, age 70, joined her Lord and Savior Sunday morning, August 5, 2018, in Slidell, LA.Pat was a long time resident of Bay St. Louis, MS and preceded in death by her husband, Dennie Abney of Slidell, LA, her mother, Patsy Koerner, and granddaughter Megan Holland.Pat is survived by her four daughters, Lazanna H. Dahl, of Bay St, Louis, Donna H. Molina, of Carriere, Patricia A. Kline, of Hammond, LA, Tammy M. Holland, of Bay St. Louis and two stepsons, Jack Abney, of Slidell, LA and Kenny Abney, of Carriere. She left behind her father, Clyde C. Koerner, Sr., siblings, Harriet Koerner, Clyde Koerner, Jr., Josie Koerner, additionally fourteen adoring grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.Loved and adored by family and friends, Pat lived her life sassy, bold, and to the fullest. She held the reputation as one of the most admired, outspoken bartenders at the infamous Salt Bayou Chicken Drop for over 30 years. She never failed to be the life of the party and always brought smiles to the faces of those around her. She is and always will be dearly missed by her Salt Bayou Family, Ray Gomez, Merreil Gomez, Eleanore Kovach, and Angele Mejia.

We invite and encourage all of her family and friends to celebrate the life she lived. Her "last party" will be held August 19th, 2018 at 1794 Blue Meadow Rd, Bay St. Louis, MS at 10:30-1:30. She would not have wanted us to mourn her death, "party" attire please.
