6 Nov 1924 - 6 Aug 2018

Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2018, at Glencoe-Hokes Bluff Funeral Home for Eunice Griffith Eubanks, "Granny," 93, of Hokes Bluff, who died peacefully at her home Monday, Aug. 6, 2018. Brother Thom Harrison and Brother Steve Shaneyfelt will officiate. Burial will follow at Crestwood Cemetery. Glencoe-Hokes Bluff Funeral Home and Cemetery is in charge of services.

Mrs. Eubanks was born Nov. 6, 1924, in Calhoun County. Known to everyone as "Granny," she was beloved by all who knew her. She loved working in her garden, mowing her grass on her John Deere, putting puzzles together and being outside on her porch. She maintained her own home until she had her stroke and lived there until she went to be with the Lord.

She was the kindest and strongest person we knew. She cherished her family, and her house was always warm and welcoming, and filled with love. Granny will be missed greatly, but we know she is home now. She was a member of North Glencoe Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Woodrow Eubanks; son, Jimmie Eubanks; grandsons, Michael and Alan; great-grandsons, L.J. Barnes and Dakota Williams; grandson-in-law, Patrick Ball; mom and dad, Mattie (Jenkins) and Green Griffith; three brothers; and three sisters.

She is survived by sons, Jerry (Eudoxie) and Gary (Elaine); granddaughters, Letitia (Greg) Watkins, Amy (Billy) Brown, Lana (Luther) Barnes, Amanda (Clay) Gifford, Allison Haygood and Angela Battles; grandsons, Cory (Connie) Eubanks, Neil Eubanks; 18 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; two chosen great-granddaughters; sister-in-law, Alta Griffith; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Cory Eubanks, Matthew Watkins, Bret Sanders, Carson Eubanks, Jake Ball, Neil Eubanks, Keith Chapman, Brack Shields, and Brett Haney.
Honorary pallbearers will be Doug Pope, Cecil Loyd, Joe Cothran and The North Glencoe Baptist Church Visiting Team.

Special thanks to Kindred Hospice, especially Nurse Pam, Jessica, Joy, Casey, and Carol, Dr. Layla Wrenn, and caregivers Cheryl, Margaret and Sherika.
Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to The Patrick Ball Scholarship Fund in care of Hokes Bluff High.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m.
The family would like to thank everyone for prayers, calls, texts, and food during this most difficult time.
