Dona Pevey Williams, 62, of Longview went to be with the Lord Sunday August 5, 2018. She was born March 26, 1956 in Longview, TX to Donald and Shirley Pevey. She graduated from Longview High School in 1973. Visitation is at Alpine Church of Christ on Thursday August 9 from 6-8. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am, August 10 at Alpine Church of Christ with interment to follow in the mausoleum at Rosewood Park. Dona was a caring wife to her husband of 40 years, Rodney. She was a lifelong member of Alpine Church of Christ where she loved serving her church family. She loved being a mother to her 2 children and being Grammy to her 7 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving husband Rodney. Her daughter Jill Zea and husband Andres, her son Adam Williams and wife Marcelina, her brother Mark Pevey and wife Lisa, and her 7 grandchildren: Grayson, Elizabeth, Olivia, and Mackenzie Corbitt, Henley Zea, Maverix, and Zaylyn Williams and numerous other family members. The family asks in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Alpine Church of Christ Mission Fund. Arrangements are under the care of Rader Funeral Home in Longview.
