Leroy T. Boulware, age 84, of Columbus, died Monday, April 4, 2005 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was born July 8, 1920 in Colonial Beach, VA to Thomas and Mary Sherwood (White) Boulware. He retired from Huffman-Wolfe Co. after 32 years service and was a 56 year member of Local #189 Plumbers and Pipefitters Union. He was preceded in death by his wife of 27 years, Dolores Grotenrath Boulware; 4 sisters; one brother and stepsons, James Wagner and Michael Wagner. Leroy is survived by his wife of 26 years, Elizabeth Foley Wagner Boulware; sons, Joseph (Kathleen), Michael (Sue Lally), Gregory, and David (Mary Pat) Boulware; step children, John (Marilyn) Wagner, Betty Lou (Charles) Carter, Tim (Diane) Wagner, Terry Wagner, Sheila (Jim) Harless, Mary (Jerry) Goodburn and Veronica Wagner (Mark); 23 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Veteran U.S. Army serving during World War II, earning a Good Conduct Medal, American Theater ribbon and WW II Victory ribbon. He was a charter member of St. Timothy Catholic Church and a member of Apple Valley Fishing Club, Apple Valley Senior Golf League and the Swiss Club, Columbus. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Road. Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Friday, April 8, 2005 at St. Timothy Catholic Church, 1088 Thomas Lane with Fr. Thomas Shonebarger, Celebrant. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Memorial Fund of St. Timothy Catholic Church, Columbus, OH 43220, in his memory.
