Mark Edward Patterson, 62, died on Friday, August 3, 2018. He was born Sept. 19, 1956 in Norman, Oklahoma to Don and Sherry Patterson. Mark attended high school in Alexandria, Virginia and graduated from the University of Oklahoma. He was the Vice President of Finance at OBI, his employer for the past 19 years. Mark enjoyed traveling, movies, OU football, and loved playing golf with his friends. Mark was dearly loved and would be missed beyond description. He was survived by his wife Marta; mother, Sherry Patterson; daughter, Kasalynne Wheeler (Dillan); grandson, DJ; and other relatives and friends. Mark was preceded in death by his father, Don Patterson; and sister, Dawna Patterson. Services were held at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, 8 August, at the Church of the Servant, followed with interment at the Sallisaw City Cemetery at 3:30 p.m. Arrangements were through Smith & Kernke Funeral Homes, Oklahoma City.
