Born April 4, 1944, in Hardinsburg, he was the son of the late Barton and Ella Lambert. He was a member of the Hardinsburg High School class of 1963. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Oliver, Kenneth, Roy, Jerry and John Lambert, and two sisters, Louise Stucker and Peggy Wright. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, the former Linda McCutcheon; a daughter, Cris Kruer (Dan); two sons, Gary Lambert (Gina) and David Lambert (Carrie); a sister, Sue Hendrix; a brother, Robert Lambert (Kay); eight grandchildren, Joshua Lindig, Derek Kruer, Tori Kruer, Jeremy Lambert, Dakota Jones, Lindsay Coffey (Bryan), Lauren Devall (Dylan) and Allyson Lambert; and two great-grandchildren, Caith and Barrett Coffey.
