Jason Allen Morris, 39 of Midland, passed away on Tuesday, July 31st, 2018. He was born July 16, 1979 in Midland, TX to Allen and Caryn Morris. He attended Midland Schools and went to Robert E. Lee High School.

At the time of his death, Jason was working for Allens Automotive with his parents. He loved working on cars and talking with the customers.

Jason was a Christian and enjoyed talking about God and reciting scriptures. He also enjoyed talking about his tattoos and sharing his testimony with anyone who was interested.

Jason started racing at an early age and cherished the memories of going to all the races with his family and all the great friends he made riding motocross. One of his great loves was raising and breeding his pit bulldogs. He also loved spending time with his family and had a special place in his heart for his nieces and nephews, Libby, Hartley and JB.

Jason was preceded in death by his brother Ryan Morris; his grandparents, Menta and Kathryn Wallace and Byrl and Jewel Morris and by his aunt Kren Morris.

He is survived by his parents, Allen and Caryn Morris; his sister, Amy Hearne and her husband Scott; his girlfriend Paula Rangel; his cousins, Michael Wallace, JD Stevens, Justin Stevens, Jeanie Russell, Kyle Wallace, Lacie Rose, Leah Parker, Brandon Wallace, Blaine Wallace and their spouses and children.

Jason is also survived by his aunt, Susan Stevens and husband Bobby of Midland; uncles, David Wallace and wife Pat of The Colony and Steve Wallace and wife Jolinda of the Woodlands.

Family will be receiving friends Tuesday, August 7, 2018 from 6:00pm -8:00pm at Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home. A funeral service is set for Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at 10:00am also at Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
